I am researcher and lecturer at the University of Innsbruck. Currently I’m pursuing my PhD as part of the SFB Research Project “Computational Immediacy” focussing on pointcloud-informed design processes. But what am I doing beyond academia?

Actually, my heart belongs to the world of mountain biking. I started racing at just five years old, and from that moment, I was hooked. Over the years, I’ve competed in both Cross Country (XC) and Downhill (DH), racking up national and international results along the way.

Nowadays, I transitioned to Enduro riding, which feels like the perfect fit for me. Combining elements of both XC and DH, it’s a sport that resonates deeply with my preferences—biking, pedaling, and tackling rough trails. It’s almost like falling in love with the sport all over again.

By expanding my focus beyond racing, I’ve embraced a more diverse range of activities. From simply enjoying the ride to actively participating in community events and sharing my passion through various projects and events, I’ve found fulfillment in being more than just a racer.

Supported by great partners and friends, I’m lucky to have top-notch gear and a strong community by my side. Riding isn’t just a sport for me – it’s a way to reconnect with the spirit of my childhood, and I’m excited to share that feeling with others.
